Don't teach your child that you can see a playback of those short video recordings video you take of your adorable little one on your digital camera.
Because one day, when you're trying to capture their 14-month old shots to record how beautiful and grown-up they are, you get anger that you're not playing those videos. Instead of toothy smiles (she has 12 teeth now!), you end up with this:

and this...
and this.

Of course, this is not Addie's fault, just her problem - she inherited some of my "cranky" DNA!!

Yes!
But on the flip side, digital camera or camera on your phone is a great car ride distraction. We take pictures of shoes, her cup, spike sleeping, mommy's shoes, truck, any toys on the back seat with us, stroller in the back, etc and look at them on the screen. fabulously entertaining for 5-10 min stretches. (All while Daddy is driving, of course!)
